Hunting Eggs

On Thursday morning they hid and hunted eggs around the house.  Sometimes Nana and Grandaddy his and the kids hunted.  Sometimes the kids hid and Nana and Grandaddy hunted.

Dying Eggs

 When the kids were little, we were all in Jackson for Easter along with Ben and Janey's birthdays.  Since then, it's been our tradition to dye Easter eggs together even if it is a month before Easter.

 The big kids couldn't wait and dyed eggs while Annie was napping.

 When Annie woke up, they helped her dye eggs.

 I left my camera in the kitchen and asked them to take pictures.  I have loads of pictures.

 Fran's niece Allie spent the day with us.

Trampoline Park

While I took Ben to the natural history museum, Fran took the girls to a trampoline park.  Annie was at the house with Nana and Grandaddy enjoying being an only grandchild.

According to Fran, Mollie Grace forgot to jump the first time and rode back to the platform.

Sam

Fran, Mary Varner, and Janey were at Nana and Grandaddy's for Spring Break.  We left after school Tuesday and drove to Jackson where we spent a couple of days.  On Wednesday, Ben was able to hang out with his friend Sam from Hattiesburg for a couple of hours at the Museum of Natural History.  Sam was with his dad and I let Ben wander around with them while I sat on a bench and read.  I got these pics from Sam's dad.

CC Week 20

 The presentation topic last week was "tell us about an amazing place."  Ben chose to tell his class about his trip to Talladega.

 The class was divided into groups of two and instructed to build a bridge.  They were given straws, playdoh, marshmallows, toothpicks, and rubber bands to work with.

Snow

Winter returned last week for Spring Break.  Saturday night near bedtime it snowed!

 John said the ground was covered when he went to bed.  By the time we got up Sunday morning, it was already starting to melt.  Ben and Mollie Grace ran outside and got enough snow to make ice cream after church.

Randomness

Last week Cara asked why I hadn't posted lately and I told her we hadn't been doing much.  I looked at my camera and there were just a few random pictures.  

 Baseball tryouts at the end of February.  It had rained so tryouts were inside.  Practices began in early March but games don't start until the end of April.

 Annie dressed herself.  Notice anything odd about her pants?

 We bought this dry erase board for Mollie Grace's new reading program.  Ben turned it into Nascar school.
