Thanksgiving

This pretty well sums up Thanksgiving.

Mollie and Janey had fun hunting eggs.  They were obviously a little confused about their holidays.

We tried a new sleeping arrangement and put all the kids together in the same room.  This actually worked.  The men were at the hunting camp so Fran and I had our own rooms.  Annie slept very well in the crib in my room.  Annie and I slept in until 9 a.m. both days.

Random Pics

Ben fixed breakfast for us one day last week.  He couldn't get the legs open on the table so he improvised with stools.

Notice Mollie is wearing mittens while John reads to them before bed.  She was still wearing them when she woke up the next morning.

Thanksgiving Feast

We had a Thanksgiving feast at school today.  Everyone came dressed as pilgrims or Indians.  There were lots more Indians than pilgrims.  It's much easier to make an Indian costume.  We would not have made it to school on time this morning without Nana and Grandaddy's house.  They have come each Monday morning for the past four weeks and kept Annie so that we could go to school.  This morning I had to prepare two dishes for the meal and overslept.  Nana and Grandaddy dressed Ben and Mollie while I hurried to dress myself.  We made it to school on time in our costumes with our food.

Ben was very excited that John joined us for lunch at school today.  At lunch Ben had to write down one thing for which he was thankful.  He wrote, "Mi noo sister."

Random Pics

Here are some random pictures from this past week.

Ben, Mollie, and Annie all in my bed one morning.

I tend to watch HGTV while feeding Annie.  It has inspired Ben to design and remodel many, many houses lately.

Mollie reading to Annie.

Mollie shared with Annie.

Ben took this picture.  He thinks this burp cloth from Bonnie Jean is so funny.

Great Grandparents

Mama, MawMaw Wilma and PawPaw Sherman came to see Annie today.

Presentation

At CC today, Ben had to give a presentation where he demonstrated how to do something.  He chose to demonstrate to the class how to draw a car using basic shapes.

Due Date

Today is Annie's due date.  We are glad that we've already had her home with us for three weeks.

Annie is very much loved by Ben and Mollie.

Random upside down pic of Mollie.

Operation Christmas Child

Tonight we had our Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing party at church.

Mollie packing her box.  She also packed a box for Annie.

Ben was determined to pack his box without any help.  He did a very good job.

Two Weeks

Annie had her two week check up yesterday.  I took my camera, but forgot to take a picture.  She weighs 6 lbs 14 oz and is 19 3/8 inches long.  That is up from 6 lbs 7 oz and 18 inches long at birth.  When we went for her check up two days after we came home from the hospital she had lost weight.  I think she was 5 lbs 10 oz so she's regained her birth weight plus some.
