Being here without John has gotten pretty monotonous so Ben and I went for a visit home.

Ben swinging with Danielle, Emalee, and Will. While they swang, Ben sang B-I-N-JO. They also talked about chickens. Ben told Will "chicken nuggets very good."

Emalee holding her "little cousin" Aubrey.

Ben and my cousin Susie's daughter, Hadlie Jo, checking each other out. She is four months older than Ben.

Ben never lets me feed him. MawMaw Wilma managed to slip a small bite in his mouth, which he said "tastes good." Then he happily let her feed him.
Ben had a really good time visiting. In the past, he's been very clingy and didn't warm up to everyone until nearly time to leave. This time he was ready to talk and play with everyone from the beginning. He had lots of fun playing with Emalee Monday night. He loved "Ungle Zac." PawPaw took him to the barn to pet the horses. We bought rubber boots yesterday so next time he can stomp around in the mud at the barn. He did NOT want MawMaw to bathe him, though.
As we were pulling away in the car, Ben was saying "Bye, Hunter."(the dog) "See you later." "Bye, chickens."
