More Topsail Pics
This was our first trip to Topsail from our new house with our new trailer. We drove down on Saturday which was a bad decision. The roads were packed with beach travelers and it took us 8 hours to make a 6 hour drive! Jim, Fran, MV, and Janey joined us Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We had breakfast together, biked, spent the day at the beach, and then cooked out at night. This was Annie's first year without training wheels and she rode all the way to Flower Nose lake by herself! Annie really enjoyed being in the water this year. Mollie Grace body surfed and dug lots of extremely deep holes. Ben rode the waves on his boogie board and ate lots and lots of snacks. John and Jim consistently showed up at supper dressed alike. Gray shirts on Monday, blue on Tuesday, and black on Wednesday. Our last day at the beach with Jim, Fran, and MV, and Janey ended with a major thunderstorm and having to take shelter by the bathroom.
July Week 3 -- Topsail
We were so worried that our beach trip would get canceled due to the Coronavirus. Thankfully, it did not and we had a great time. Best weather that we've had in years. No red flags! The first couple of days were yellow flags and the last two days were green. We can't remember the last time we saw a green flag. The kids all had to get their picture taken in front of it. These pics are from John's phone. And then the next post will be lots of and lots of pics from mine. Although I didn't take nearly as many pics as in years past. This year we spent a lot of time in the water, which isn't phone friendly.
July Week 2
Week 2 of July was mainly about preparing for our upcoming beach camping trip and Princess Dance camp for Annie.
This is a link to a video from the last day of Princess Dance camp of a dance they learned and a Bible verse they memorized. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzbHKbtX398&feature=youtu.be
July Begins
July has nearly escaped me! We've been busier than we've been since March. Soccer practice resumed, Annie went to Princess Dance Camp, Mollie Grace continued to have horse riding lessons, and we went camping at Topsail. All of those pictures won't fit in one post so here's the first week of July, which included a Thursday afternoon hiking trip at Hurricane Creek Park, Annie losing a tooth, Ben learning to mow with a push mower, and the 4th of July.
