A Week

Here are pics from the past week.  Parents were allowed to come watch the last night of summer ballet.  There are lots of pics and a video of Mollie dancing.

 Our Sunday School class built the tabernacle out of fabric, MegaBlocks and Lincoln Logs last Sunday.

 Annie was very good and sat patiently in her stroller eating snacks while we watched Mollie dance.

 After about half an hour of watching Mollie dance, I had pity of Ben and let him play on my Kindle Fire.

 On Thursday we met some friends to play at the park.  It was very hot.

 Friday we swam at the Y.  Ben took this picture.  I was surprised that Annie loved the water.  This was the first time we've taken her swimming.

Mainly Swim Lessons

It has been nearly two weeks since I last posted.  They have been two very busy weeks with swim lessons Monday through Thursday of each week as well as a trip home for Aubrey's birthday party.  During that time Annie has learned to pick up food and put it in her mouth.  Below are lots of swim lesson pics, a couple of Annie, and a few from Aubrey's birthday party that I took off Cara's Facebook page.  We also went to the Nebo pool with Cara, Aubrey and Ella Kate, but I didn't take any pictures.  Oddly enough for me, I never got my camera out during the time that we were at Mama and Daddy's house.  Nor did I take any pictures last night at the annual Wednesday night water slide at church.  This year I went in my swim suit prepared to slide and we had fun.

 This is Mollie Grace's group.  She was the youngest one in her group and looked so tiny next to the others. All the other girls were a head taller than her.

 Mollie had no problem putting her head in the water and floating.  She passed level one the first day.  She stayed on level two the rest of the time, though.  She knows how to move her arms and kick her feet, she just can't get very far.

 Ben passed Level 2 on Friday and spent this week working on Level 3.

 Annie has become very steady sitting up.

 The bit of toast in Annie's mouth is the first food that she picked up herself and put in her mouth.

 Jumping from the diving platform into the 10' water.  He had to tread water for 15 seconds and then swim freestyle to the ladder and climb out.

 Today they worked on diving standing up.  This wasn't easy for Ben and he still needs more work on it.

July Week 1

 Ben, Mollie and Sam think it's incredibly funny to dress up in random clothes and then tell me that a neighbor from down the street has come to visit.  This is our neighbor "Autumn."  She looks kind of familiar even though she's wearing Ben's clothes and lots of lipstick.

 Annie took her first ride in the red wagon.

 Annie loved sitting in the Cozy Coupe.  As soon as I sat her in it, she grabbed the steering wheel and started driving.

 Ben picked our first tomato of the year from our garden.

 I was trying to take a picture of Mollie and Annie in their matching dresses but it just didn't work out.

 We spent the 4th of July at Lake Bruin with David and Claire and Will and Audra.  Ben jumping into the lake.

 Last year Ben and Mollie rode on the tube by themselves together.  This year we had a different tube and as soon as the boat started, they promptly fell off.  They panicked in the water when they saw the boat start to drive away.  We were just turning around to go get them, though.

 We traded tubes with David's sisters.  This one was easier to ride.  Ben is riding with David's niece Allie.

 Swim lessons started today.  Mollie's group learning how to hold their hands.

 Although it was naptime, Annie was very cheerful while we watched Ben and Mollie.
