Post Christmas

Mollie Grace was excited to try out the skateboard she got for Christmas!

Elder Christmas

As is our normal tradition, we opened presents and ate supper with the Elders Christmas evening. Since Christmas was on Saturday this year, we were able to spend the night.  We attended church at FPC Jackson on Sunday.  John forgot his dress pants, but thankfully was able to borrow a pair from Grandaddy.

Christmas Morning

As usual, Santa brought gifts to MawMaw and PawPaw's house.  Both Mollie Grace and Annie are wearing their new pj's from Aunt Connie. After breakfast with Mama and Daddy, Will's family and Zac's family, we headed to Jackson. We had our traditional Christmas lunch of truck stop Arby's at the Love's in Tallulah.

Christmas Eve Fireworks

Everybody was at MawMaw Wilma and PawPaw Sherman's for Christmas Eve, even Emalee.  There were so many kids doing fireworks.  I was non-stop lighting sparklers.  I don't think I even shot a bottle rocket!  It was crazy hot for Christmas Eve but that made it great for being outside.

Christmas Eve

It was definitely a challenge this year getting all the great-grandchildren on the couch!

Helping PawPaw

Mollie Grace volunteered to help PawPaw feed the cows.  I look outside and see that he has her driving his truck.  She was terrified!  A turtle could have beat them to the cow barn.  Once they were finished feeding, she drove around and around and around the circle practicing.

Gingerbread Houses

We made gingerbread houses with Marlee, Reiny, and Cash!

Santa

The week before Christmas we visited Santa at Cabellas.  We found it very odd that Santa was dressed in green.
