A Week

It's been more than a week since the last time I posted on my blog, yet when I connected my camera to my computer I only found a few pictures.  Very unusual for me.  I know last Saturday Ben had his first soccer game of the spring season.  I took my camera but got so into the game that I forgot to take pictures.  Ben scored the last two goals of the game and his team won by two points.

These first two pictures came from Mollie's Sunday School teachers.  They learned about serving others and washed each other's feet.  That is Mollie on the left with the flower headband.

 Mollie's turn.

Mama was off work this week so she and Aunt Connie came to visit for a few days.  She and Ben are racing on the Wii.  Her driving improved after a couple of days but she was never able to beat Ben. Mama and Aunt Connie also played Just Dance Kids with Ben and Mollie but I wasn't allowed to take pictures of that.  On Tuesday afternoon, Mama and Aunt Connie watched Annie while Mollie, Ben, and I went to see the movie Paddington Bear.  Tuesday night we ate at Waffle House which the kids thought was an awesome treat.

Today I remembered to take a few pictures at soccer.  Ben's team dominated.  He scored one goal.

John worked in Memphis (where it was freezing cold with ice and snow) all week.  You can tell that Annie missed him.

February

Wow, we're already a week into February.  Here are some pictures from the last week or so.

Mollie showing off some pictures that she drew.

Mollie and Annie having a tea party.

Annie thought it was so funny to pretend to sleep on the kitchen floor.

Everyone eating the leftover muffin batter. Mollie is wearing Ben's pajamas because the night before I put Annie to bed before Mollie Grace got her pjs out of her room.

Ben taking a picture of Annie's first pig tails.

The pig tails are tiny from the front.  Annie has very short hair on top so we just slicked it down.  (I think Annie looks so much like MV in this picture.)  Annie LOVES to brush her teeth but the little finger brush won't do.  She needed a big tooth brush like Ben and Mollie.

Ben and some of his classmates (Laine, Kennedy, and Sarah Kate) working on an art project at CC today.  This is only the second time I've been to class with Ben but he asked me to go today.

For Valentine's Day we had a talent show at CC today.  Ben played He's Got the Whole World in his Hands on his guitar.

Ben has been doing a lot of drawing.  For the last week they've been listening to the Winnie the Pooh audiobooks at bedtime.  He's illustrated several scenes from the books.  This is Pooh and Christopher Robin walking past Pooh's Thinking Spot to Owl's house.

This is Pooh in his house thinking about honey.

This is Ben's picture of Annie.
