Dance Expo

Annie takes a weekly dance, tap, and gymnastics class.  They do not have a recital but they did have an end of year expo where parents could come see what they've learned.  Annie's class is on Wednesday mornings and there are only 5 girls in the class. I will try to post videos tomorrow.

End of May

Mollie Grace got new jodhpurs for her birthday for Mama and Daddy.  I gave them to her early because they arrived on the morning of a lesson and I knew she would be excited to wear them.

Ben is trying to train Annie to be a soccer player.

Schools Out

Last day of 4th grade.  He looks so much older with his new hairstyle.

The last day he went was a half day.  We all went to the Awards ceremony.  He got an award for all As, for attending the Math Olympics, and for having the 2nd highest AR points in the 4th grade (not just his class).  He got a $50 gift card to Books-A-Million for the AR points.

He wanted to spend the rest of the day hiking at Lichterman Nature Center.

We're trying to make the most out of summer.  The first day of summer we took a picnic to the park.

And visited the library.

For Memorial Day weekend we camped at Roosevelt State Park.

There was close to 100% chance of rain this weekend as tropical storm Alberto made landfall.  We were glad that the weathermen were wrong and we had beautiful weather Sunday and Monday.

Mollie Grace was so excited about catching a fish.

Ben didn't want to fish.  Instead we went on a TWO MILE hike!

We joined a local athletic club for the summer so that we can swim.

Riding Lesson

I took a riding lesson with Mollie Grace.  I'm way more impressed with how well she can post while trotting after doing it myself.  It was lots of fun and I definitely plan to do it again.

Zac's Wedding

Mollie Grace counted down the days until Zac and Lori's wedding.  She was extremely excited about it. I got these pictures from Missy, Cara, Aunt Connie, and Lauren.  Annie probably had the best time of anyone at the wedding.  She danced all night.  Her favorite partner was Gary Jack.

We stayed at the same hotel as Cara, Aubrey, and Ella Kate.  We did not bring swimsuits but Cara convinced me to let them swim in their clothes.
