February

February was a quick month.  Mollie Grace started out the month by crafting a bonnet.  She also went to Teen Dance Night with friends and got her braces off.  The only picture of Annie for the entire month is playing Twister at church.  Ben completed his last debate in CC, visited Troy Univerisity, practiced Protocol during lunch at CC, and played in the Morgan County Tournament.  He had friends and former teammates on several teams and some CC friends came and watched them play.  We also got a second snow.  We had half a snow day.  It was a Wednesday and we went to CC at noon so that we didn't have to have a make-up day.

Mollie Grace killed a buck on January 18! He is being mounted and she named him Rickey.  She's told a couple of people she killed Rickey, which is an extremely awkward way to start a conversation.

January Snow

We got several inches of snow that caused everything to be shut down for a couple of days on Friday, January 10. I bought two new sleds at the beginning of winter and absolutely did not expect to use them. It was a soft fluffy snow.  It snowed all the way to the Gulf.  New Orleans and Destin got even more snow than we did.

After being off since Thanksgiving, we returned to CC January 8.  January pictures seem to be mainly school.  Annie and I attended a production of Wizard of Oz to watch her friend Lily Belle and we went to a bridal shower for her former Sunday School teacher Emily Grace.  Ben appeared as Sprocket at an AI Conference at the Space and Rocket Center. A representative from the Trash Pandas was presenting about AI use in baseball.
