Ready to trick or treat with our cove friends Silas, Piper, and Cole along with Silas' cousins.

It was very hot tonight. Ben was sweating under his helmet. Mollie Grace's shoes hurt her feet. Both she and Silas were barefoot.
After we finished trick or treating Ben, Mollie Grace, and Cole had fun passing out candy. When they saw someone coming, Cole would run to his house to hand out candy and then hurry back to our house before the trick or treaters to hand out candy at our house too.

These are pics from our trip to Kansas from John's phone.

Ben and Mollie Grace had a great time dancing at the reception.

Soccer
Tonight was Mollie Grace's last soccer game. They had professional pictures taken before the game but we went out in the backyard and took a few to have to post on the blog.
This is most of Mollie Grace's team -- Vanna, Mollie Grace, Abigail, Keira, Vera, Hartley, and Sophie. Layla and Sarah were not there. Coach Caleb is in the back.
Mollie Grace is number 2.
Mollie Grace is playing offense here, but she is best at defense. She says she can focus on the ball better when she's playing defense.
Cedar Hill Farm
On Monday afternoon we went with some of our CC to Cedar Hill Farm.
Hay ride to the corn maze and pumpkin patch.
Kansas
Last weekend we drove to Wichita, Kansas for Kelli Netson's wedding.
Finally get to Kansas and see this sign.
We were all fascinated by the rows and rows of windmills.
In our hotel room.
We drove to Salina so see John's grandparents' house. This is the hill across from their house.
Their house. It's been recently resided and the front porch enclosed.
The currently owners probably wondered who the crazy people were taking pictures in front of their house but we decided we didn't care.
From a different angle.
Had lunch at Cozy Inn Hamburgers in Salina. John's grandfather worked in the building next door.
This is what Mollie Grace thinks of salt and vinegar chips.
Our hotel from the walkway along the Arkansas River.
The Arkansas River that ran right past our hotel. John has some pics from the wedding that I need to get off his phone. Ben and Mollie Grace had a great time dancing. Annie kept her eye on the "princess" (Kelli).

Annie Birthday
Saturday night, we ate birthday cupcakes and Annie opened most of her presents.
She loved opening all her gifts. I had to practically drag Mollie Grace away she wanted to help so much.
We got Annie a suitcase for her birthday. When we were packing for Disney World she was so concerned because she did not have a suitcase. She told John, "I will hold my pajamas in my lap." She's ready for her suitcase to ride in the cargo carrier on the roof.
On Monday morning at breakfast she opened her presents from Ben and Mollie Grace -- Daniel Tiger books and a princess money bank. She chose to eat lunch at Chick-fil-a and spend the afternoon at the children's museum.
This is the only pic I took at the children's museum. Ben made it all the way across the monkey bars which was a big accomplishment for him. He's never been able to do monkey bars.
