End of April

April ended by checking off a bucket list item by stopping in Glencoe at Big Chief for lunch on our way home from Cheaha.  We've talked about it for years and finally did it.  The burgers were as good as we expected.  Ben went to college signing day for on of his teammates.  We attended a park playdate while Ben was Sprocket at Trash Pandas Education Day where 5000 screaming kids watched a baseball game.  Wednesday evening we made a quick trip to Auburn for Ben to interview for a position as an intern in the sports department and hurried back for him to work a double header.

April Week 4

The fourth week of April included the last two soccer games of the season.  They beat West Morgan at Jack Allen but lost to East Limestone in the state semi-finals round 1. Reed and Easton came to the East Limestone game. On Friday was the CC end of year program.  Annie received awards for Scripture and Memory Master.  John and Ben were already at Cheaha.

Narnia dance

Another week so busy it requires two posts.  On Saturday Annie and her friends attended a middle school formal for homeschoolers.  It was Narnia themed.  Annie, Maddux, and Millie got dressed at our house.  We picked up Raylea, Lilly Belle, and her mom Jessica and rode together to the dance.

April Week 3

The third week of April was probably the busiest week of the year. Mollie Grace had her first lesson at a new barn.  She is returning to English riding.  My Challenge IV class had Senior Thesis Defense Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings.  Ben, Rhett, and Reed defending on Monday night.  Wednesday was the last day of CC for Challenge IV, which meant lots of pictures and a cake.  Some of the boys also did a composer skit for Foundations.  It was Annie's last day of Foundations and Faces of History.  Friday night was senior night for soccer.
