Genesis 1

This year in CC we learned Genesis 1:1-26.  You could earn the title of "Scripture Master" by reciting  (singing) the entire passage to our CC director.  Mollie Grace did this via FaceTime last Thursday.

I had to submit a picture of Mollie Grace for our CC yearbook for the "Scripture Master" page.

And a picture of Ben in his Faces of History costume.

Shelter at Home Week 3

Six weeks!  Mollie Grace had a great riding lesson on Monday where she successfully cantered and we completed CC (for the second time this year) with our Southaven group.  This weekend we broke free and went camping!  It was our first time out in our new trailer.  We went to Oak Mountain State Park in Birmingham.  We already had reservations because of Talladega (which was canceled) so we decided to go just to camp.  We did a lot of hiking.

The bunk room is my favorite part of the new trailer.  Everyone has a bed!

 Worshiping with the DPC livefeed.

 Snake!

 Early morning dog walking selfie.

Waiting for breakfast.

Shelter at Home Week 2

So this is our fifth week at home.  There are fewer pictures.  It's getting old.  April 16 marked one month since the last time we went to church.  John continues to go to church every day and I go to the grocery store once a week.  Mollie Grace has horse riding once every two weeks.  Ben and Annie have not left the house except once to ride to Wal-Mart to pick up groceries.

Playing Apples to Applies.  Annie is very dramatic when she doesn't have a good card.

 Putting on a puppet show.

Thursday I broke out of the house and went to Home Depot for plants.

And picked up Chick-fil-a while I was out.

I was sitting outside in the sunshine reading when a parade passed by me!

Annie was excited to have her first test.

Easter Weekend at Home

Ready to celebrate Easter with egg dyeing, watching for the Easter Bunny to ride by on the fire truck, and an egg hunt.

I didn't think to order an egg dyeing kit the last time I got groceries at Wal-Mart two weeks ago and neither Publix nor Foodland had one so we had to Google DIY egg dye and discovered boiling water, food coloring, and a Tablespoon of vinegar works.

 Bike ride with her bunnies.

Mollie Grace picked me a boquet.

Playing bunny.  Annie changed into her dance recital costume.  When the dance recital was canceled she decided that it would make a beautiful Easter dress.

Mollie Grace did a Easter photoshoot.

The Town of Priceville volunteer fire department brought the Easter bunny through all the neighborhoods of Priceville Saturday afternoon.  You can see that there were kids out waiting along the street to wave to him and the firemen.

Ready to egg hunt.

Annie decided our Resurrection Garden needed an angel so she made one.

Our Gluten Free empty tomb rolls were a flop.

We decided to dress nicely for the Easter service even though we were watching it online in our living room.

Baking sugar cookies to cut out and decorate.

Annie taught Mollie Grace her recital dance and they performed for us.  Mollie Grace is such a good sister.

We ended the evening with chicken and waffles, something I've never cooked before.  Since our days are so much the same I'm trying to add some variety to our suppers.
