A BUSY Week

My calendar was full last week: Valentine's Day parties at CC and Ben's school, braces, a field trip, Grand Parents Day at NCS, a play with the girls, and a quick trip to Jena.

Ben made this paper bag puppet for his Valentine's Day treats.  You lifted the mouth and there was a hole to put his candy in.  It fell into a large peanut butter jar inside the bag.

 Valentine's Day pocks.

Next step in getting his front teeth in.

Living room pairs ice skating while watching the Olympics.

 Annie's turn.

Bible Museum field trip with Ben's class.  Nana and Grandaddy spent the day with the girls so I could go.

After the guide told them about all the artifacts, they had a scavenger hunt.

 Hibachi for supper!

While Nana and Grandaddy were at Grandparents Day with Ben, the girls and I attended a performance of The Frog Prince.

Saturday the girls and I went to Jena to see Cash.  The boys stayed home to watch the Daytona 500.

Mollie Grace was still the cat whisperer.  Shadow came running when she called for her.

Bottle feeding Reiny's orphan calf, Sparkles.

We love when the train is crossing the river while we're at the visitor's center in Vicksburg.

A Week

Wednesday was Jersey Day at NCS.  Thursday was Career Day.  Ben dressed as an engineer for Kyle Busch's team.  I didn't get a picture.

Mollie Grace illustrated the sentence she wrote for spelling.

Mollie Grace's horses did schoolwork with us.

Annie's friend Sadie invited her to come to gymnastics on Monday.  Sunday night she had a complete meltdown worried about going, but Monday she was super excited.

Annie and Sadie (Can you guess who is older?)

 On the beam

Annie called this a basket hold.  She had such a great time.  She was ready to go back next week. (And she can.)

Preparing boxes and bags for Valentine's day parties.

Writing her name on her Valentine's day treats.

 Valentine assembly.

Today we grew crystals from Epson salt dissolved in water.

Today presentations were about an element from the periodic table. Annie told about how elements are used to make the different colors in fireworks.

The artist we learned about today was Jim Davis, creator of Garfield.

A Week

Annie having a tea party under the stools.

Cowgirl Kaya dressed to ride Sparkle.

 Extreme static!

Random selfie I found on my phone.

Annie got married on Monday.  The groom's name was Olex.

Ben was the best man at Annie's wedding.

Annie's presentation at CC today about immigrants.  Kirsten is an immigrant from Sweden.

 Painting pop art.

This is Mollie Grace's class playing a game.  The back of her head is bottom middle.

Science experiment with her friend Lucy Kate.

Art with Sarah Grace.

Things I didn't take pictures of:
-- Ben's last Futsal game of the season on Saturday.  The finale score is debatable.  There isn't a scoreboard.  Ben says his team won.  I think the other team won.  It was a close game.  Possibly 8-6.  The question is which team scored 8 and which scored 6.

-- Pajama Day.  Today was Pajama Day at Ben's school.  He went to school wearing clean pjs (not the ones he slept in) and I forgot to take a picture!
