We had a much slower week. No cross country on Monday or soccer practice on Tuesday and Thursday so we were home for a couple of evenings.
Annie's lemonade stand. Mollie Grace and I were her customers so we drank lots of lemonade.
Ben and Marcie selfie. We take Marcie with us to pick up Ben from school some days.
Annie's hieroglyphics presentation. Major points. The Egyptians did not have a letter E which makes it really hard to write her name. She painted the background on the letter A red because they had a lot of war then. The N may look like they scribbled a bunch of Ms but it's really an Egypitian N.
I think Annie's is the brown bird in the middle.
Mollie Grace's class.
Monday's horse riding lesson got rained out, but Mollie Grace got to ride Thursday afternoon. The weather here has been crazy. Tuesday it was 97 degrees. Wednesday it was 65 and cloudy. Thursday it was in the high 60s and still cloudy so MG needed a jacket.
Friday it was a little warmer thankfully for a field trip to the Botanic Gardens. This is a place we've never been and I've wanted to go since we moved here. It was an awesome field trip that lined up perfectly with our CC science. This is a hodge podge of pictures taken by lots of mamas. Mollie Grace and I were in different groups. Annie had Kindergarten shots on Thursday so she wasn't 100% on Friday.
Mollie Grace had fun with these girls -- Hannah, Zoe, and Amelia.
There is a super cute area called My Big Backyard with several playhouses and other neat areas.
When we got home I was extremely tired. I laid down for a few minutes and woke up with fever, chills, and a headache. I still felt terrible Saturday morning so I went to the walk-in clinic down the road. I got a shot and other medication. John took Annie to her soccer game while I napped all afternoon and watched Netflix in bed all evening. I didn't go to church this morning but I feel much better. I just wanted to be careful about sharing my germs.
