Mainly Annie

While Ben and MG have been doing school work daily, Annie has crafted, written poetry, drew a comic strip, the list goes on and on.  She must have finally run out of ideas because today she voluntarily got out her math book and did the first lesson and then cleaned under her bed.

Mollie Grace has trained her chickens to get back in the coop when she says, "Coop time." When they don't immediately do it, she says sternly, "You heard me. Coop time!"

At the end are two pics from Ben and MG's classes yesterday sent to me by another mom. MG crochets during class.

Monte Sano

John took Monday off and we spent a long weekend camping at Monte Sano.  John, Ben and MG rode their bikes while Annie and I played games, napped, went to the park, and built gnome houses.  There was a car show at Monte Sano on Saturday that John, Ben, and MG checked out while riding their bikes.

Challenge

The first Wednesday in August was the first day of class for Challenge students.  Mollie Grace is in Challenge for the first time. Challenge A = 7th grade.  Ben is in Challenge 2 = 10th grade.  Annie doesn't start until the middle of August but she had a friend, Eleanor, to play with.  They sat in a corner of my room and quietly crafted.  One thing they made were masks. Ben continues to practice driving.  This was his first time pumping gas, a new life skill.  Mollie Grace "bedazzled" her crate and Annie used the leftover supplies to make her notebooks fancy.  Both MG and Annie made aprons at Sewing Club.
