Twin Lakes

Excited to leave for Twin Lakes on Monday morning.

The camp posts pictures every day for parents.  Below are a few that I found of Ben and MG.

Waiting for their swim tests on Monday.  Don't know why Mollie Grace's tongue is sticking out.

Gulf State Park

This is the first picture on my camera from our trip to Gulf Shores.  Mollie Grace took a picture out the trailer window of this rat she saw.

Annie did not care for the splash pad, but John tried really hard to get her to like it.

This very tiny water spout that she could stick her foot in was Annie's speed.

More wildlife.  There was a rabbit that hung around our campsite constantly.  Don't know why we didn't take a picture of it while it was daylight.  It was ALWAYS there.  There were signs about not bothering the alligators, but thankfully we never saw any.

What it really looked like in the dark without the flash.

Annie woke up in the night and got out of her bed the first night so she slept on the couch with Ben or Mollie Grace the rest of the week.  She slept much better.

 Mollie Grace loved the water.

Annie is dancing to the music one of our neighbors was playing.

This is not a pretty picture.  Ben obviously took it, but it's real life.  It rained Wednesday morning and we hung around the trailer playing games and watching movies.

Trying to convince Annie that the waves were not scary.  She finally decided she liked the water the last day we were there.

She would shake her finger at the waves and say, "Stop Mr. Wave."

Ben enjoyed building in the sand.

Mollie Grace is cheering for John as he rides a wave.

 Ben's Corvette in the sand.

 Ben's sand castle.

 MG's sand castle.

 Day 2 jumping.

Thursday night John grilled fish, shrimp, and veggies.  Delicious!

Annie shared with both Ben and Mollie Grace.

Birthday Girl

Today is Mollie Grace's 6th birthday.  She opened a few presents on Saturday, but we saved some for her to open today as well.  Ben and Annie both got her stuffed characters from The Lion Guard.  She was very excited about those. (Ben was taking pictures since I was still working on French toast in the kitchen.)

This headband should look familiar.  She's worn it every birthday since she was three!

Ben wrapped his gift himself.  He must have used most of a roll of tape.

At 11 a.m. I had a babysitter come to stay with Ben and Annie while Mollie Grace and I spent some time together for her birthday.  She got her ears pierced at Claires, shopped at Crazy 8, The Children's Place, and Justice, and had lunch at Chick-fil-a.  She brought her new Kion toy along to hold while she got her ears pierced.  You could tell by her face that ear piercing hurt and she was really scared about the second one, but she didn't cry and was super brave.

She wanted Kion to be in the picture too since she held on to him while she got her ears pierced.

She bought a dress, a tank top and skirt, and sparkly pink flip flops as well as the hat and sunglasses that she's wearing in the picture.

She told all the salespeople in the stores that it was her birthday and that she had just gotten ears pierced and they all made a big deal out of her.  She had a great time.
