Moth

Several weeks ago we had three caterpillars form cocoons in Ben's insect cage.  

 Last night as John was helping Ben get ready for bed he noticed that there was a moth fluttering around the insect cage.  I think John was the most excited about it because he had completely doubted that anything was going to come out of the cocoons.  I spent five minutes trying to take a picture of the moth because we knew it would immediately flew away when we opened the cage lid.

 Fly, moth, fly.

 But instead it clung to the lid like its life depending on it.

 We finally got it to fly and it landed on John's shirt.

Then it landing on the globe of the porch light.  Now we are waiting to see if moths come out of the other two cocoons.  They all three formed cocoons within a few days of each other.
