Ben successfully took his first bath in his cast without getting it wet. We wrapped his cast in a bread bag (Mama's suggestions) and taped it around the top. I put a step stool in the bathtub beside him to prop his arm on. We even managed to wash his hair but we may just wash his hair a couple of times a week rather than daily while he's wearing a cast.
