After breakfast we drove to Nana and Grandaddy's house, stopping for our traditional truck stop Arby's Christmas lunch. We opened presents, ate supper, sang Happy Birthday to Jesus, and the kids performed a Nativity play. John had to return home to work Wednesday and Jim spent the night at the hunting camp. The kids spent the morning playing and then we headed home.
Stockings
Ben got lots of bubble gum in his stocking since he can finally chew gum after 14 months in braces.
Ben asked for this hoodie but it was out of stock until a day or two before Christmas. It is ordered and will be shipped directly to our house. Grandadddy wrote a poem about the hoodie.
Lucy and Marcie circling each other. Lucy wanted to play but Marcie wasn't so sure.
The angel of the Lord entertaining us until everyone was ready for the play to start.
Ben introduced the play entitled "A Christmas Musical."
Gabriel is telling Mary that she will have a baby.
Mary Varner played many roles including the donkey Mary rode to Bethlehem.
The heavenly host appearing to the shepherds. Annie and Janey are sheep.
Annie singing to us after the show. Don't you love her sheep ears? Janey fixed her hair.
Everyone else quit but Nana and Ben played on.
Annie loved making slime with Janey.
The dogs were watching for Fran.
