While Annie and I spent most of Friday at rehearsal, I gave Mollie Grace permission to bake cupcakes for her birthday. She had big plans for chicken-shaped cupcakes. She ended up making horse faces too. Although her birthday was not until Tuesday, we celebrated at lunch on Saturday. Nearly all her gifts were chicken themed because she had asked for chickens for her birthday. She got a coop from John and me and will get actual chickens later in the summer. Thankfully we did celebrate MG's birthday on Saturday because I ended up leaving Tuesday morning to go to Jena because Daddy was in the hospital critically ill.
