After Christmas

MawMaw and PawPaw bought Mollie Grace this beautiful, sparkly, poofy dress for church. She dressed Pippi fancy as well.

Ben loves his Snap Circuit kit from MawMaw and PawPaw.

One morning I asked Ben to make the muffins for breakfast. He was a good big brother and let Annie help him. (This is what Annie's hair looks like in the back every morning.)

Soaking their hands in the nail spa Mollie Grace got from Emalee and Rylee.

New Year's Eve John got home early and we used the last of the fireworks left over from Christmas Eve. We had 12 Roman Candles left. Annie is normally scared of fireworks but she decided she wanted to do them too. Ever time the sparks shot out the end she would say, "Yay, Annie!" (Photo by Ben)

Christmas morning

Santa brought Ben an electric helicopter, but how do you get it to fly?

Noticed my perplexed look. Maybe it needs to be charged more?

Mollie Grace asked Santa for a Pippi doll.

There was a Kyle Busch theme to many of Ben's presents. By the time we left Nana and Grandaddy's house, he had acquired an entire Kyle Busch wardrobe.

Santa brought Annie a toddler girl doll and MawMaw and PawPaw got her a high chair for her doll. PawPaw named Annie's doll Susie and it stuck.

Mollie Grace loves to watch birds so MawMaw and PawPaw got her binoculars.

The light turned to green on the charger so we took the helicopter outside to try it. While I was leaning over it, it shot into the air but no one new how to control it. John switched off the power and it plummeted to the ground from 20 feet in the air. It survived the crash but we couldn't get it to fly again. Back on the charger!

After opening presents with Will, Danielle, and the girls we headed back outside to try the helicopter. This time it flew and we eventually learned how to control it better.

Christmas Eve

The yearly great-grandchildren picture at MawMaw Wilma and PawPaw Sherman's house. They all look sweaty because it was 75 degrees outside and they had been running around outside playing.

This is the only picture I took while we were doing fireworks. It seemed more important to supervise the small children with fireworks than to take pictures. We were a little short handed without Josh and Tom,who were both working.

When we visited Santa at Bass Pro Shop, he told us that he liked peanut butter cookies and chocolate milk while Rudolph preferred baby carrots.

Christmas

Somehow I completely forgot to post my Christmas pictures! We spent a few days before Christmas with Mama and Daddy. Santa delivered our gifts there as usual. After breakfast we headed to Nana and Grandaddy's house. We spent one night with them.
