Soccer/Swimming

Ben is going to soccer camp in the mornings this week and Mollie Grace is taking swimming lessons in the evenings. Annie is along for the ride as always. Today the local semi-pro soccer team Memphis City Football Club visited Ben's soccer camp. All the kids thought it was cool to meet real soccer players and had them sign their balls.

Several weeks ago Kroger got these kid-sized grocery carts. We haven't used them before because I don't have that kind of patience when grocery shopping with three kids. However, on Monday when Ben was at soccer camp and we had plenty of time, I let Mollie Grace and Annie push the buggies while we grocery shopped.

All of our groceries for one week, two small carts.

Mollie Grace is, of course, the tiny one on the end.

Ben asked me to come on the field after he had gotten his ball signed and take a couple of pictures.

Lake Bruin

We celebrated the 4th of July and David's 40th birthday with the Barnetts at Lake Bruin.

Week

After going, going, going for most of June, we had a quiet week at home.

Ben built an elaborate Hot Wheels track that ran through a house and castle and into the back of a truck.

Had to do some math.

Beautiful rainbow behind our house.

We took Mollie Grace's training wheels off her bike.

I was so proud of MG. The first day she had a hard time learning to balance and I thought it was going to take a LONG time for her to learn. But the second day she got it and could ride but couldn't get started on her on. The third day she mastered riding without training wheels and we took two long rides around the neighborhood.
