Wow the summer has passed quickly! It's already the second week of August.
We spent two Saturday afternoons building this swing set. Annie would look out the window and say, "Daddy. House." John did the actual building. I read the instructions and pulled out the parts that he would need next.
This is the box that the entire thing came in. Lots of small parts.
We have been car shopping. We're testing a Kia Sorento to see if they all fit in the middle row. I don't know what Annie thought was happening but she totally freaked out every time we sat in a strange car.

We went back to the Children's Museum and did the outside things that we didn't do with Aubrey and Ella Kate. Ben rode the zip line over and over.

Yay! You can see the sun setting in the background. It was 8:30. We hadn't eaten supper. But we finished the swing set. I am so thankful that the original swing set that I picked out with a playhouse and wooden roof was out of stock! We did not have another Saturday of swing set building in us.

Mollie was proud of the castle she built.
Last Wednesday we went to a new dentist. No cavities. Baskin Robbins on the way home as a special treat.
Mollie has been pony crazy lately. One evening we designed pony outfits for a show that she performed. She's showing off her pony's outfit and the bracelet that she made herself.

I was completely shocked when I realized school here was starting last week. Since we usually start when the kids on our street start, we began easing back into our school routine. Annie likes to play with the counting bears from the math manipulative kit.
Annie loves to play Ring Around the Rosy. When she wants to play she says, "Ashy, Ashy." Ben and Mollie are really nice about playing with her.
All fall down!
Mollie dressed up to put on a dance performance for us yesterday. Since I was cooking lunch, her show had to be in the kitchen. She starts ballet here Monday.
