Saturday

This was the first Saturday in weeks that we didn't have soccer games, but we still had a lot to do.

 There used to be a hill with grass on it behind our house.  For the past few weeks they have been working hard to take down the hill and prepare the land to build houses.  The kids like to go out in the morning, climb on the swing set, and look over the fence to see what work has been done.  Ben took this picture.

 Annie's birthday was Monday but we celebrated on Saturday.  Annie and Mollie Grace mixing up Annie's birthday cupcakes.

 In the afternoon, Mollie Grace went to a birthday party at a petting zoo for one of her soccer teammates, Keira.  That took turns riding in this pony cart, . . .

Soccer

I haven't taken many pics of soccer this season.  Ben's games are intense and I'm too involved to remember to take pics.  Mollie Grace used my camera to take pics last Thursday night.

CC Week 8

These pics are from CC last week.  Ben is in my class so I get lots of pictures of him.  Since Mollie Grace is in another room and I can't leave my group, I don't have nearly as many pics of her.  A mom in her room sent me some pictures of her giving her presentation.  The presentation topic was "Demonstrate how to do something."  Ben taught his class how to draw a car.   Mollie Grace showed her class how to make instant chocolate pudding.

My Birthday

Monday, October 10 was my birthday but we celebrated the Saturday before.

 Mollie Grace has been wanting to get me new pajamas since last Christmas.  John took her shopping.  He said it was very funny.  He picked out red plaid pajamas, but she said, "Oh Daddy no.  Those are not pretty." She chose a lavender top and grey bottoms.

 Ben bought me a Chase Elliott NASCAR diecast.

 John got me an ice cream maker, which he said was really hard to find in October.

On Monday, Mollie Grace sang me a song while Annie danced.

CC

Mama pointed out to me that I haven't posted since Disney World.  So the next few posts will be all the pictures that I've been taking in October.  The first are from our CC group on October 4.

 Christian taught us how to use the sun and a magnifying glass to burn a leaf.

 We built a scale model solar system using fruit.  I'm standing on the Sun.  It is a long way to Neptune.

Disney from John's Phone

Tonight I downloaded the pics from our trip to Disney from John's phone.

 We stayed at the All-Star Music Resort in the Country Faire section, hence the giant cowboy boots.

 Ben drove with Jim on the Tomorrowland Speedway while John rode with Janey.

While we were waiting for the Electric Parade a castmember (she worked at the Haunted Mansion) named Amanda started talking to Janey and Mollie Grace. She let Janey and Mollie Grace help her with her job directing traffic across the street and keeping the emergency exit cleared before the parade.  Janey is welding the power of the green light stick.

Last Day

We spent our final day at Animal Kingdom.  Breakfast with Donald and friends at Tusker House, Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, Safari, and Primeval Whirl.  We left Animal Kingdom late afternoon and drove to Jim and Fran's house.  Monday morning we headed home.  We arrived about 5 p.m.
