Flower Nose Lake

We made our annual bike ride to Flower Nose Lake on Saturday. That turned out to be a bad idea because my bike had a flat at the lake and wouldn't hold any air to get back to the campsite.  John had to go get his tools and fix the flat on the side of the road.

Jim and the girls spent the day with us Friday.  Fran was in Canton with her mom.

 

More Topsail

 Every night when we walked we took pictures of probably the same bird, saw lots of crabs, and the same two stars that turned out to be planets, Venus and Jupiter.

Go Kart

We did something crazy for us.  We left the beach on Thursday morning and went to the go kart track.

 

Topsail

The weather was beautiful at Topsail this year.  It didn't rain even one afternoon.  Our favorite thing was evening walks on the beach at sunset.

 

MG turns 16

MG turned 16! Nana sent her flowers and she baked herself a birthday cake.

 

June Begins

June began with Point Mallard days and Ben working the Trash Pandas at night.  Beltline Youth Group went to a game and Mandy sent me pictures.  Rhett and Reed got to play Whack-A-Mole on the field and Ben was the mole.
