Nana provided Ben and Mollie with their patriotic outfits for the 4th of July. She made Mollie's cute outfit and ordered the shirt for Ben to go with the shorts she made in the spring.

hung up the "Happy Birthday" banner, blew up balloons, hung up "wallers" (pictures Ben drew) in the breakfast room, covered the table with a red tablecloth, and ate from blue plates. At naptime we sang "The Star Spangled Banner" and read a book about how Francis Scott Key wrote it.
Mollie has figured out cupcakes since her birthday party last month. She was rubbing her hands around and around on her tray trying to get every bit of icing.
